Kyle and I are going to the BAHAMAS!!
We both have been working like crazy so we decided to take a vacation in June when Kyle gets a week off. We both wanted somewhere tropical but it took some time to lock down a destination. Aruba, Jamaica, St. Marten….? Finally we decided on Nassau, Bahamas. We knew it was going to be a bit pricey overall, but we both couldn’t wait to see the crystal clear water.

Things to consider: The resort is not all inclusive so be prepared to spend spend spend! We found a great way to save by getting Starbucks for breakfast instead of doing a fancy meal in the morning. Not only did it help us save money, but it also provided a familiar and comforting start to our day. Moreover, our budget-conscious strategy included buying booze at the airport to fill up the insulated water bottles we brought. This clever idea allowed us to enjoy our favorite beverages without having to pay for expensive drinks every day. By implementing these money-saving tactics, we were able to fully enjoy our vacation without breaking the bank.
Extras: The resort also has a water park! Kyle and I didn’t go on any of the rides but we did explore and walk around it. They also do a few activities throughout the day such as the flamingo parade and fountain show at night.
